Who is the tallest/oldest/youngest/fastest/kindest … and who has got the longest hair?

AudreyC and her completed superlative comparison worksheet.

When we buy a new sweater, make a new friend, or encounter a new taste or smell – or a new anything, in fact – comparison is the best and sometimes the only tool for describing the new thing, whatever it is, to someone else. In our P2 and P3 classes, we recently covered comparisons using tailor-made worksheets that featured our students’ photos and invited them to use superlatives to describe each other.

Below are some more of our P2 students’ completed and marked superlative comparison worksheets:

GwynethT and her completed superlative comparison worksheet. JasmineL and her completed superlative comparison worksheet.

Two out of three students here agreed that Jasmine was the kindest student in the class. 🙂
